Hopefully by now, you’ve gone through the tasks for your first 2 days and are ready to hit the ground running.
Keep in mind the beauty of Chalk Couture is being able to work the business in various ways so tailor this to how you’re planning on doing things.
Ready to get going?! Consistency is the key to SUCCESS. To help you get a plan going, let’s take a moment to jot down a daily task list. Grab a pen and paper (or do this digitally, if you prefer) and write out 5 tasks you want to accomplish each day. These are going to be tasks that will help you build and grow your business. Here is a list of tasks that come to mind. Pick 5 and write them down to do. I love to write down a list of things to do in the evenings so I wake up knowing what is on the agenda and what needs to be accomplished.
-Post to your Personal Facebook
Think family, fun, lifestyle, interests, hobbies, questions, home decor, business, etc. Do NOT put your website link in your personal posts… it comes off as spammy and you don’t want to have people unfollowing or hiding your posts. Focus more on attraction marketing and building relationships.
-Setup your FB Biz Page
This is your public page to share all things Chalk Couture, Home Decor, etc.
-Setup your VIP group
Make sure it’s CLOSED. You need it closed to be able to do specials, giveaways, etc. It’s also a great place to share bits of your life and family in there to build relationships. Be sure not to do just add people to the group without asking them. You’ll want to INVITE or share the link and let them go request to join.
-Connect and build new FB friends. A great way to do this is by getting involved in groups that interest you. Whether it be a hobby, car, home decor, gardening, mommy group, local town group… find people who have similar interests and connect in the groups. Oftentimes, they’ll friend you. This is a great way to expand your friendships and network.
– Be a good FB friend. Set aside time to COMMENT on your friend’s and customer’s posts. Don’t just like or love … comment. With how Facebook algorithms work, it will have more of an impact.
-If someone stands out to you as someone who would make an amazing designer, reach out and connect with them. You could share that you feel they’d be awesome but do it in a non-spammy way. Depending on the person here are a couple of examples…. Hostess: I can totally see you rocking your own workshops, have you ever thought about becoming a designer and doing this? Great customer: I see you love the products and have been creating and showing off your gorgeous finished pieces, have you considered becoming a Designer and getting a discount, plus having the opportunity to do way more with it, if you choose to.
– Prep for your parties/workshops
-Personal development
Weekly Task Ideas to add to your list as time allows..
-Bookings: Get those workshops, home parties, online parties scheduled
-Evaluate your goals: See where you are at and what you need to do to get to your goals. Sales may be fab and you may need to shift focus to focus on sponsoring or working with your team.
-Make your videos, take project pics, get graphics made up for social media posts.
Hope that gives you ideas on income producing activities to get on your task list each and every day.

LAUNCH TIME!!!
What’s your thing… In-Person? Online? Both?
Plan an online launch party (you can then turn that group into your VIP group) or schedule a date for a local launch party and start inviting your friends and family. If able, do both!

BOOKINGS
I know it’s mentioned above on the task list but it’s super important to get those bookings if you’re wanting to do online parties or in person workshops. Schedule them and then give yourself a little time to prep. Book 5. You can do it! With online parties you can post the same thing to each party…. no worries. With in person events you could do back to back workshops, you could do them on different days. I have several videos on this in our Ways to Work the Business group. I also have a Mock Party Group to give you ideas and inspiration for rocking your own facebook/launch party.
