Thank Your Mail Carriers

It’s that time again…. time to thank your mail carriers. For the past few years, I’ve done this goodie basket full of snacks, granola bars, chocolates, candy and water bottles for them to pick what they’d like and enjoy while on their route. Mine is out on the porch and ready for the mail carriers.

I can tell you, they really do appreciate it and always make it a point to say thank you. During the holidays, they usually are working non stop and long hours to make sure we all are receiving out packages and I’ve had them tell me that sometimes these snacks are all they get to eat all day.

I’ve included the Thank You message below for those of you who would also like to thank your mail carrier.
You can click on the image, then right click to save. Or you can CLICK HERE to download the file from DropBox, if you have any issues loading the full size image below.  Just print, fold or cut and attach to your basket full of goodies.

Braver Stronger Smarter Decor

You are BRAVER than you believe, STRONGER than you seem, SMARTER than you think, MORE LOVED than you know.

Isn’t this the perfect transfer to go on a canvas for my boys room? Oh I love it. What I love most is how easy this was to make using Chalk Couture. I was even able to customize it using the colors I needed to match their room. Check it out in the video to see it in action…

It’s seriously so fun and easy to do. Check it out in action below…

Chalk Couture Paste & Ink on Multiple Surfaces

I had so much fun adding this little rooster from the I Don’t Do Mornings Chalk Couture Transfer to a tea towel and serving tray. Check out how you can use Chalkology Paste and some Chalkology Ink to spruce up your decor and give it a new look.

Chalkology Ink is my go to for anything I’d be placing in the washing machine or dishwasher and I typically use Chalkology Paste for everything else. Here you’ll see how I used some Ink to add this rooster to the tea towel for my kitchen and how I used chalk paste to add it right onto a serving tray to give it a farmhouse feel.

OMG My Mother Was Right

My daughter, Londyn, is on summer break from school. She’s 5 and going into 1st grade. She woke up the first day off of school and asked if she can help me work. Ummmm yes! YES, you sure can! I totally hired a summer helper and will be paying her with LOL dolls. Meet my newest employee… LONDYN!

Check out her first project made this summer using the Mother Was Right Transfer from Chalk Couture with gray and aquamarine Chalkology Paste.

She did great, didn’t she?

Come In And Stay Awhile

I’m loving this Stay Awhile Transfer from Chalk Couture. It’s totally perfect for every entry way, isn’t it?! I put it onto a 24×36 Chalk Couture Panel and then popped it into a 24×36 frame that I had. Since the frame is porcelain magnetic, I used a heavy duty hook, placed it right onto the chalkboard and then topped it off with a cotton wreath. Pretty cute, right?

Reverse Canvas… who knew?

Did you know that underneath a canvas is a gorgeous wood frame, that is ready to be stained or painted and turned into a beautiful piece? There is! Let me show you how easy it is to take off the canvas, reattach and then chalk it up with some Chalk Couture Transfers and Chalkology Paste.

Sugar Cookies Anyone?!

Do you decorate for Valentine’s Day? I’m having a blast making all kinds of Valentine’s Day decor this year using all the super cute Chalk Couture Valentine’s Chalk Transfers. This Sugar Cookies Transfer could absolutely be used year round but with a little red and/or pink Chalkology Paste, it screams Valentine’s day. Am I right?

I couldn’t wait to chalk this one up. I even did a little layering on the Sugar Cookies letters, using our Patterns Chalk Transfer. Oh yes.. yes, I did LAYER the transfers. Did you know you could do that? I’ll share the video for you below so you can see how you do the layering. It’s a fun added touch.

Seriously, it’s as easy as …. PLACE. PASTE. PEEL!!!

If you haven’t tried Chalk Couture yet, head on over to MY STORE and get yourself some!!! You will love it!

This Ombre Technique Never Gets Old

Want to add a unique look to your chalk projects?! If so, you’ve got to give this ombre technique a try. It’s super simple to do and really adds a lot. Check out this cake that I used the ombre technique on in the video below. It’s from the You’re the Sweetest Chalk Transfer from Chalk Couture.

All you need is your Chalk Transfer, surface, at least 2 chalkology paste colors and your finger.

Isn’t that cool?! This project was super fun. I love how you can chalk on the chalkboard backing of this Shadow Box, as well as the glass on the top.

Chalking with Brooklyn

When your teenager wants to play with your Chalk Couture goodies, you let her have at it and have her make a video while she’s at it. 🙂 Check out her video below….

Didn’t she do great? She picked out the Home Sweet Home Chalk Transfer to use, which is one of my favs.

I love that these products are so fun for all ages.
